I'm quite proud of knowing the Martinez/Rushden & Diamonds question, I remember this game being on Sky. I got the Hylton question too, apart from that I was pretty abysmal but to be fair I am awake and up early by my standards, not really in a thinking mood!
ReplyDeleteI just hope people are realistic this season, remember both Hull and Blackpool made cracking starts before fading dramatically, quite simply though if we finish 17th it will be a successful season. Unfortunately, and I did mention this in the comments for the previous podcast, I do predict some booing at some point especially if we 'do a Hull/Blackpool'. I also stand by what I say that booing is nothing new at the Liberty, it will not just be the plastic fans, but the so-called 'real' ones as well. You mention people paying for a season ticket and booing; ironically, the exact argument that I see get used in defence of booing is 'I've paid for my ticket, I'm entitled to boo'!
I'm intrigued as to what the new format will entail!
